May 2008 Central Ohio PMI Programs       Theme:  Change Leadership

jimc2.gifProject Managers are leaders of change.  Knowledge and use of change methods that work are critical for project success.  Change leadership is extremely important – the driving reason for the theme “Change Leadership for Project Managers” for May.  Each of May’s events (May 8 Evening Chapter Meeting, May 16 PD Workshop, and May 28 Morning Chapter Meeting) will address a different aspect of Change Leadership.

Presentor: Jim Canterucci

PMI Central Ohio Leadership Institute 2008

Central Ohio Chapter is proud to announce its second annual Leadership Institute to help you become a stronger leader. Participants say the following about this year- long course facilitated by Dr. Jerry Brightman.

  • The Leadership Institute was a "life changing event,"
  • The course "affected me as a person and a leader."
  • "I learned more than a book full from my fellow participants."
  • "The 360 degree review itself was worth the cost of the class."
  • "Jerry Brightman is like a magician. He provides the smoke and mirrors and stimulates you to see the possibilities."

You owe it to yourself to learn what leadership is and you owe it to your organization to learn what leadership can be. Class size is limited to 25, and fills up quickly. Participants earn 60 PDUs - Check out the details and register today!

President's Message

president_new.jpgHello Everyone!

We are starting May and it seems like the year is going by fast.

The Programs Committee (Walt Sutterlin) continues to deliver quality programs; and the monthly theme approach with 3 related events per month continues to be well received.

Your feedback on the events evaluations form is much appreciated, we are listening, and making changes. We had a few issues in April with last minute speaker changes. We ask for your understanding. We hope to be able to control things but it is not always possible.
